Angela Muir is a graduate of the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design. A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Angela was immersed in the wedding industry from an early age through her mother's career, as she worked for a bridal magazine and eventually came to own the largest bridal show in the mid-south.  During her high school years she produced the fashion show portion for the those bridal shows, as well as several fashion shows at RISD.

Angela had the opportunity to intern at Vera Wang and her desire to spend her career designing wedding gowns was cemented during her time there. Angela was also one of the select few students chosen to participate in a unique collaboration between RISD and the Italian Trade Commission, where the ITC provided fabric and yarns and the students were charged with producing four-piece collections, which were later shown at the RISD Museum and at Bergdorf-Goodman in New York City.

During college she met and fell in love with Matthew Muir. In the summer of 2007 they were married in the San Diego LDS Temple with a reception on Coronado Island beach.  The wedding was straight out of her dreams and exactly how she had planned it; fun, festive and perfectly detailed.

Throughout her experience in the industry she has noted a consistent lack of nontraditional dresses and wedding attire.  After going through the process for herself, weddings became even more of a passion and Angela decided to start her own company that offered beautifully detailed and nontraditional dresses that are custom made and that add an air of whimsy.  She has found her niche. The collection is inspired by visions of times past and present.
